First of all, let’s start by setting up environments and coding minimal examples.
1.1. Installation
In v1, AROAPL runtime supports only Linux. However, we also need specified keyboard layouts by using special glyphs, and it supports only Windows. Therefore, please prepare windows machine, and we use WSL or remote Linux machine.
1.1.1. Compiler
I’m still in the process of developing the Linux
compiler.
Therefore, for now, this explanation will be theoretical
only.
Please bear with me a little longer.

1.1.2. Virtual Keyboard (Custom IME)
Traditionally, APL and most its derivative languages including AROAPL use not only ascii layout, but also use their own unique symbols (glyph). You need this set in AROAPL.
Unzip, and execute setup.exe below.
After that, please reboot.

Also, all English letters in AROAPL are uppercase. Don’t use lowercase except filename, string, and comments, because it doesn’t work.
1.1.3. VScode Linter
This is also in the process, so comming soon…
1.2. Command Line Interface
After you set up, you can make
aroarpl run xxxx.ropl
aroapl build xxxx.ropl
